Singularity is more than Atlanta’s First Live Virtual Reality Concert. It is a conceptual night of music performance focused on the emotions, themes, and interactions of technological singularity.
Kurzweil’s singularity describes a future where machine learning and artifical intelligence advancements abruptly trigger a runaway in technological growth, resulting in unfathomable changes to human civilization. Adopting this hypothesis (and possibility) of the future into an artistic form, the evening will consist of a single body of work presented in three distinct movements, each conducted by different artists.
Singularity I: Self – Performed by Daniel Eric Carlos Hector Alberto Sabio (The Glad Scientist) in Virtual Reality
Singularity II: Society – Performed by Eric Reynolds & Dylan Banks (Flohr & Skybison)
Singularity III: Nature – Performed by Jeremi Johnson (10th Letter)
